The Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon, Half-Marathon and 4-Person Relay takes place on Sunday, 3 December 2023 at 5:00am. The Kids Fun Run begins at approximately 10:30am.
The Marathon course is a looped one. Walkers are welcome to walk the half marathon as the course will be open for six and a half (6.5) hours.
The relay teams are made up of four (4) persons, and can be co-ed. Each team member runs approximately 6.5 miles. One timing chip belt will be issued to each team, and each team member wears that belt when he/she runs his/her leg. There will be shuttles to take runners on the relay teams between the Start/Finish line and the Turnaround Point where the chips are exchanged.
The race begins and ends in front of Hard Rock Cafe in the beautiful waterfront area of George Town!
There is complimentary and continuous shuttle service to and from the start line on race day starting at 3:30am. These buses will run from FOUR locations: Kimpton Seafire Resort, Westin Resort & Spa, Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman and Marriott Resort. The service continues until approximately 12:30pm. Please use this service to help us reduce the amount of cars on/near the course. Supporters can also use the buses to ride to the finish line but please give preference to runners.

The Cayman Islands is a warm weather destination year-round but we selected one of the cooler days of the year for you to come and run with us. Expect the start line temperature to be in the low 70s meandering into the higher 70's by the end of the race.
The Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon uses the MyLaps timing system. All participants will receive a bib containing a timing chip in their race packet distributed at Packet Pick Up on Saturday, 2 December. Participants MUST wear their bib with timing chip. No chip, No Time. Bibs can be discarded after use.

There are no refunds or transfers of registration to other runners. ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. In addition, you cannot transfer your registration from a half or full to a team relay or from a team relay to a full or half marathon. However you can transfer between the half and full marathons.
If you are unable to participate in this year's race, your registration can be deferred for ONE YEAR at a cost of US$20. To do this, log back into your Race Roster account and choose DEFERRAL ONLY. The deadline to defer is the Wednesday before the race.
Please do not park along the route as we are trying to minimise the amount of vehicles on the course. There are many empty parking lots in George Town on Sunday morning so please utilise those. We also offer a complimentary park and ride service. Buses will run continuously starting from 3:30am on race morning until 12:30pm. The shuttle service locations are Kimpton Seafire Resort, Westin Resort, Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman and Marriott Resort.
Please note that NO coaches, skateboards, baby joggers or strollers, bikes, dogs, support vehicles or inline skates will be allowed on the course.
