CHARITY & RUNNING GROUP PROGRAMME

As running and walking experience a major boom in popularity, the concept of running for a cause is also gaining significant attention and growth. There are many participants in the Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon who not only give of themselves physically, but give to others as well by using our race as a vehicle to raise awareness and funds for many local and international charities.  

 

The organisers of the Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon are inspired by, and proud to work with individuals and non-profit groups who run to help others. We recognise and appreciate the integral role that charity fundraising plays in drawing new runners and promoting the sport, and we do our part to raise awareness of the organisations that choose to participate in our event. Our aim is to make your experience in the Cayman Islands and at our race a memorable one, and strive to put the FUN in fundraising!

 

GOLD LEVEL CHARITY AFFILIATE
70+ Participants

Benefits: 

  • 15% registration discount for all full and half marathon participants with coupon code provided
  • Group code will be valid up to 60 days prior to race day
  • Complimentary registration for coaches (must be verified with the non-profit organisation) – 1 comp entry per 20 paid entries
  • Charity placed in online registration form as option for donations
  • One (1) complimentary table at Packet Pick Up the day before the race at the Official Marathon hotel 
  • One (1) brochure, postcard, or other promotional item inserted in 1500 race bags (items supplied by group)
  • Logo, description, and link displayed on Charity webpage on CaymanIslandsMarathon.com
  • Charity mentioned in one email newsletter to all runners (message provided by group)
  • Charity participation mentioned in a press release to be disseminated locally
  • Two (2) Public Address announcements at the finish line (message provided by group)
  • Right to use Walkers Cayman Islands Marathon logo (subject to approval by Cayman Marathon organisers)


SILVER LEVEL CHARITY AFFILIATE
30 - 69 Participants

Benefits: 

  • 10% registration discount for all full and half marathon participants with coupon code provided
  • Group code will be valid up to 60 days prior to race day
  • Complimentary registration for coaches (must be verified with the non-profit organisation) – 1 comp entry per 20 paid entries
  • Charity placed in online registration form as option for donations

  • Group code will be valid up to 60 days prior to race day
  • Complimentary registration for coaches (must be verified with the non-profit organisation) – 1 comp entry per 20 paid entries
  • Opportunity to rent one (1) table at Packet Pick Up the day before the race at the Official Marathon hotel for $50
  • One (1) brochure, postcard, or other promotional item inserted in 1500 race bags (items supplied by group)
