Our runners LOVE our race, and they make sure they tell us! Read for yourself what some of them had to say about their Cayman Islands Marathon experience!

OHMYGOSH! Your team did a WONDERFUL job with this race. This was my 9th marathon and I LOVED the personal touches throughout the race and in the process/planning up to the event. Fantastic race - easy for check-in at airport, hotel notice, host hotel notice, packet pick-up and race day. The water stops, kids’ race and post-race fun were fantastic. You all should be commended!

We cannot say enough good things about the Marathon. It was a really fun event to run. Well organized, plenty of water stops full of enthusiastic people that kept us going. Kendra and I have already decided that we will be back in the future to run the half again. We'll start saving our nickels now. Just a few quick words about Grand Cayman. We met so many wonderful, friendly people, and not just in the shops and restaurants but just passing on the streets; locals and vacationers all had smiles. I think we felt safer wandering the streets there then we do at home…

Thank you for an amazing race day. You guys are so organised and the atmosphere was amazing.  The volunteers are the most fabulous people and to have that energy and constant cheering is so motivating

"Just a quick note to offer a sincere thanks and congratulations on a job well done with the Cayman Islands marathon. I had the pleasure of chatting with race officials a number of times throughout race weekend - expo set-up, pick-up, pasta dinner and race day. Very helpful, friendly, and always a simile on your faces and the faces of every volunteer I met over the weekend. The organising team should feel very proud for putting on such an awesome event. I can't remember the last time I was drinking beer by 9AM but the finishing line beer was a nice touch! This was marathon #23 for me and I have a rule that I never run the same race twice - too many destinations to check out. I think I may make an exception for the Cayman Island marathon."

"Thanks for organising such an amazing race on Sunday. I've run the relay and the half marathon in the past and stepped up to the full this year and it's amazing how well it is run, and also how well each of the water stops are taken care of. The energy at each water stop provides with just their enthusiasm to help all of the runners on the course no matter what their particular race is, is brilliant!"

"I truly thank you so much for such a wonderful event yesterday. The warm welcome, fantastic atmosphere and great organisation of the marathon made it a special and unique event that was a joy to be a part of. The way the community embraced the event with the enthusiasm of the volunteers from everyone at the expo, start/finish line to the amazing energy of the water stops, cyclists and cheering sections on the course is really something I will never forget. I have so many wonderful memories of my run yesterday and the celebratory atmosphere that I could go on and on here but I will just say you have done a wonderful job and I only hope myself and my family can return and be a part of it again. Many thanks for putting on such a great event, I know it takes a lot of hard work and hours behind the scenes but it really shows on the day that this is a vibrant and unique event that will only continue to grow. This was my ninth marathon but one of THE most memorable, fun and enjoyable races I have ever done. I hope to join you again!"

“The Cayman Marathon was an amazing event with great people at all levels of the event. I really think they could do big things with it and would love to be personally associated with the marathon in future years. Since I won some Cayman Airways flights which is a great prize it also makes it more realistic for making the trip back.”

“I wanted to send you a note to let you know how awesome I think the organization and execution of this marathon was. What a wonderful event! This was my 4th half-marathon this yearincluding two others in MN and one in CA and this was by far the best event. The price for the event was a steal. I loved all the extras, including the shuttle service, greeting at the airport, special immigration line, gorgeous medal, carb-loading dinner, etc. I also loved the announcer at the finish line and the finish line food and organization. Well done! I loved the numerous water stops, preventing us from getting dehydrated. I loved this event and would happily do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an awesome event!”
