Getting Here

Flights to the Cayman Islands come in from various U.S. states every day of the week. The islands are well-serviced by some of the world’s best airlines. You can purchase tickets to Cayman Islands for as little as $69 for a one-way trip from the USA, so it’s worth shopping around.

Estimated flight times for Cayman Islands flights from popular U.S. destinations are as follows:


  • Miami, FL: 1 hour and 20 minutes
  • Houston, TX: 2 hours and 45 minutes
  • Tampa, FL: 1 hour and 40 minutes
  • Atlanta, GA: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Cayman Airways provides the most frequent service to Grand Cayman, flying three times a day from Miami, five times a week from Tampa, and three times a week from New York. The airline also provides seasonal flight services from Washington D.C. and Chicago.

The majority of visitors book their plane tickets to the Cayman Islands with American Airlines. They provide nonstop flights from Miami, Florida, and Charlotte, North Carolina to Grand Cayman every day, making them an excellent choice for round-trip flights to the Cayman Islands. They also offer flights from Chicago, Kansas, and Dallas, with the cheapest round-trip starting at $568.

JetBlue offers flights from Fort Lauderdale, New York, and Boston, with one-way tickets starting at just $90.
Additionally, Delta Airlines fly daily between Atlanta, Detroit, and Grand Cayman.


The main airport is Owen Roberts International in Grand Cayman. Cayman Brac also has its own hub, Charles Kirkconnell Airport. Meanwhile, Little Cayman is served by daily inter-island flights. Cayman Airways and Cayman Express provide inter-island flights between Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.
