Is this a trick question? That was my first thought when Jan asked me, “Do you want to go to the Cayman Islands in December?” In central Illinois, December is when you start to get some really cold days, along with that first 1-inch snowfall that makes you think that all the other drivers must have just moved here from Florida, because nobody appears to be able to drive in snow. And then some more cold. And wind. So, despite knowing nothing about the Cayman Islands, I gambled that “yes” was the right response.
